Taking place entirely inside a Hong Kong coffin apartment, the play is a two-hander that kicks off when Xiang Guo attempts to commit suicide on his 30th birthday. Following the failed attempt, Xiang begins using an advanced A.I. named Mei, developed by Xiang’s former employer. Their increasingly romantic relationship keeps Xiang alive as she becomes his reason for living. However, with a solar flare that will take Mei offline for weeks fast approaching, Xiang struggles painstakingly to somehow save her and, in the process, save himself.
